Our aim and objectives are to provide education across diverse streams including arts, Commerce, Science, Technical, Skill-Based, Vocational, Management, Tourism, Tribal Art, Tribal Culture, Traditional Value Systems, and related fields. Our commitment lies in fostering the growth of tribal communities through knowledge and skill enhancement.

Our mission is to pioneer flexible and innovative academic and research programs, focusing on emerging areas and giving special emphasis to the tribal population of Gujarat. We are dedicated to providing robust infrastructure and research facilities in various aspects of tribal life - be it art, culture, tradition, language, medicinal practices, customs, forest-based economies, biodiversity, or technological advancements pertaining to natural resources in tribal areas.

We conduct both fundamental and applied research on issues directly impacting tribal communities. Our university actively evaluates schemes implemented by both state and central governments aimed at tribal development. Additionally, we offercompetence-building opportunities to tribal individuals, ensuring their holistic growth.

Preserving and propagating tribal culture, heritage, and traditions lie at the core of our values. We strive to disseminate valuable information about tribes, their indigenous knowledge, and skills, safeguarding their legacy for generations to come.
